I have a post recently on my Facebook account, it is done by accident can I delete that post alone? Yes you can do this, if you don't want to appear them in you profile page.
Go to the wall by clicking your profile / profile image and find the post you want to delete.Move mouse over the top right corner of the post , there you can see a drop down menu, select delete post command from the list and click the delete post button.
